On Thursday, August 22, over 40 advisers from across the valley gathered at Centennial High School for the second annual “Back to School” Journalism Adviser workshop. Last year, the workshop took place online with about 20 advisers.

Five different workshop sessions were offered, including interviewing, photography, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and staff manuals. A resource center was also provided for advisers to drop-in and share resources or have their questions answered.

The new membership model for the SNSJ Organization was also shared. Future workshops are currently being planned based on exit results of workshop survey.
